Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, both of the Batles, are rumored to be on an upcoming Rolling Stones album.
After the release of A Bigger Bang in 2005, the English rock group has not released any new music. Since then, all albums that have been made public have either been covers (like their 2016 Blue & Lonesome album) or live recordings (like the GRRR Live! album that was published in the beginning of this February).
Yet, the band has been promoting the untitled new album with pride for some time. Mick Jagger, the rock band’s leader, claimed that the group had recorded “a load of tracks” in 2020. According to guitarist Keith Richards, they recorded a significant number of tunes during a week-long recording session in Jamaica in 2022.
Charlie Watts, who passed away in 2021 at the age of 80, recorded some drum parts for the album as well. In an interview conducted in Los Angeles, Richards affirmed Watts’ involvement.
“Charlie Watts isn’t done speaking yet.”
