When this year’s group of Islanders go “on job” to find their true love, “Love Island” is back on our screens for the winter season. Hosted by Maya Jama, this year’s ITV series promises yet more drama, recoupling, and challenges to keep us entertained, but it’s also had us taking a trip down memory lane to find out which of our favourite “Love Island” couples are still together.
Unfortunately, Faye Winter and Teddy Soares announced their separation in February 2023. They quickly moved in together after becoming boyfriend and girlfriend after placing third on the show. But, 18 months later, amid rumors that they had not communicated on social media for weeks.
Winter wrote in an Instagram story, “I wanted to let everyone know that Teddy and I have decided to part ways after giving it a lot of thought. We sincerely appreciate your support and willingness to go on this journey with us. Forever indebted to you.”
There is still hope for this year’s Islanders even if not all relationships last once the cameras stop rolling. Will a new Ekin-Su and Davide appear? Will this series be the beginning of other “Love Island” offspring, continuing the romantic legacy of Molly-Mae and Tommy? Or, like Millie and Liam, will we witness connections develop only to fizzle out once they leave the villa? Time will only tell! While we have witnessed brides, bromances.
