David Beckham penthouses, perhaps? The Londoner Macao interior

With Queen’s Guard sculptures and a Beatles and Spice Girls soundtrack, The Londoner Macao, the newest resort from Sands Resort Macao, promises visitors a great time enjoying all things British.

The upscale hotel features David Beckham’s first rooms for celebrities in Macau, and Churchill’s Table’s traditional afternoon tea quickly sells out due to its very Instagrammable offerings.

The Londoner Macao, the newest building from Sands Resort Macao to open in the Asian gaming city, is likely to make anglophiles feel like children in a candy store as soon as they step inside.

The all-suite hotel is a fun and slightly over-the-top celebration of all things British, from its recreation of the Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament to the Union flag-painted London cabs greeting guests as they arrive in Macau. And not to mention the “Top of the Pops” hits blaring everywhere – think Elton John, Robbie Williams, The Beatles and the Spice Girls.

Footballer David Beckham, Sands’ global ambassador, is behind the design of the David Beckham Suites, located on the top two floors of the property. Dubbed “the first celebrity-designed suites in Macau”, they’re decorated with portraits of Beckham and pieces inspired by his legendary football career.

Fans of the athlete can also enjoy his favourite dishes, cigars, whiskeys and cocktails at some of the hotel’s eateries.

Among the hotel’s restaurants is Churchill’s Table, a casual and buzzy spot inspired by Winston Churchill, the late UK prime minister. It fills up fast though, especially its very popular classic afternoon tea, which provides plenty of photo ops thanks to its lavish and visually striking dishes.
