Brian Cox, star of “Succession,” will participate in a game show as the antagonist

Brian Cox, a previous Emmy winner, will appear in the British game show 007’s Road to a Million on Prime Video.

The unscripted series, which will make its debut later this year, will send two-person teams on international expeditions with the possibility of winning a £1 million grand prize.

“Filmed in many iconic Bond locations — from the Scottish Highlands to Venice and Jamaica — this cinematic format will be a true test of intelligence, endurance, and heroism,” the streaming service stated in a press release on Tuesday.

The competitors, who will work in two-person teams, “must successfully answer questions hidden in the various locations around the world to advance to the next challenge” in addition to overcoming obstacles.

Cox will portray The Controller, a character that controls theproceedings.

Cox commented, “I got to see how regular people would handle being on a James Bond adventure.”

It becomes increasingly dramatic and suspenseful as they visit some of the most famous Bond spots throughout the world. I enjoyed playing the character of the villain and the tormentor and having the power to torture the willing participants.

Over the past 70 years, James Bond, a British secret agent, has been the focus of numerous books, movies, and video games.

The most recent actor to portray him was Daniel Craig, although he left the role after 2021’s No Time to Die. There is currently no successor announced.
